Privacy policy

This policy explains how we handle personal data on willpear.com while WillPear is in its waitlist phase. We keep it short because we collect very little. Before the app opens, we will publish a full policy for the app and tell everyone on the waitlist.
Who is responsible
The controller is Viet Lam Duc, a sole trader registered in Slovakia (IČO 55949223), Ružová dolina 16008/25, 821 09 Bratislava-Ružinov, Slovakia. WillPear is part of VLD Ventures. For anything about your data, email willpear@vldventures.com.

We do not use cookies. Our statistics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) works without cookies and does not follow you across websites. We do not buy data, sell data or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Supabase stores the waitlist in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Vercel hosts this website and counts visits. Vercel is based in the United States; any transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Both work for us under data processing agreements. The full list is on our subprocessors page.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, get a copy of it, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and it takes one email: write to willpear@vldventures.com and we will act within 30 days, usually much sooner. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to fix it first.
Security
The waitlist can only be written by our own server. It is not reachable from the browser, it is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the sign-up form is protected against automated abuse.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we will tell you before it applies.
