What you save in WillPear is personal. Here is exactly where it goes, who helps us handle it, and what we will never do with it.
Kept in the EU
Your notes, files and the AI that reads them stay in Frankfurt, Germany.
Never used for training
The AI we use does not learn from your data. That is in our contracts, not just our promise.
Export or delete, anytime
Take everything with you in open formats. Delete your account and your data is removed.
Where your data goes
This is how WillPear will work when it opens. Each company below works for us under a data processing agreement, and only does what we need to run WillPear.

One exception to know about: when you paste a YouTube link on the web, we ask a transcript service for that video's captions. Only the public video link is sent, never your notes. The full list of companies is on our subprocessors page.
What we never do
- Train AI models on your sources or notes, or let anyone else do it.
- Sell your data, or share it for advertising.
- Show ads inside WillPear.
- Read your notes. The only exception is when you ask our support team to look at something, and only for that.
